Previous Work
Before working as an independent consultant, Curry spent a decade working with nonprofit organizations based in New Orleans during the rebuilding of the city following Hurricane Katrina. His work took him from roles in business development and communications at the regional economic development group Greater New Orleans, Inc., to the position of executive director at the civic engagement-focused Young Leadership Council, to a founding member of the annual giving circle Emerging Philanthropists of New Orleans. In addition to his experience in the nonprofit sector, Curry has a background in community outreach and public relations, working with clients ranging from a statewide government agency to a major health insurance company to a philanthropic community foundation.
